Free tool
Turn any web address or text into a QR code you can print on flyers, menus, signs and business cards. Choose your colors, check that it will scan, and download a PNG or SVG file.
Tip: shorter links make simpler, easier-to-scan codes.
Good default for most uses.
The empty border scanners need around the code.
Enter a web address to see your QR code appear here.
Enter your link or text to enable downloads.
This tool makes static QR codes. They are simple and permanent, but whatever you encode is fixed forever. If you print thousands of cards and later change your website, a static code keeps pointing to the old address. A managed code solves that, because the printed code points to a permanent link whose destination can be updated later.

Restaurants link to menus, contractors link to quote forms, salons link to booking pages, and retailers link to offers or review pages. QR codes work on business cards, postcards, flyers andyard signs. You can also make aGoogle review card or abusiness card with a QR code on the back using our other free tools.
Yes. There is no account, no watermark, no email request and no payment. You can create as many codes as you like and download them as PNG or SVG files.
No. A static QR code contains your link or text directly, so it works for as long as your destination does. It does not depend on The Marketing Outlet or any other service.
A static code stores the destination inside the pattern itself, so it can never be changed after printing. A managed code points to a permanent short link that The Marketing Outlet redirects for you, so the destination can be updated later without reprinting.
Medium works for most uses. Choose Quartile or High if the code will be printed small, on rough materials, or might be partly covered by a logo, scuffs or folds. Higher levels make the pattern denser, so they need a little more printed size.
As a rule of thumb, at least 0.8 inches (2 cm) square for short links held close, and larger for anything people scan from a distance. Print a test and scan it with a few phones before you print a large batch.
Use SVG for printing and anything that needs to be resized, because it stays sharp at any size. Use PNG for websites, email and social media. The 2048 and 4096 pixel PNG sizes are suitable for print as well.
The code is generated entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent to our servers, and scans of a static code do not pass through us.
